Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and Section 40.2(a) of the regulations promulgated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”) under the Act (the “Regulations”), North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”), Nadex self-certified the terms and conditions for its new BONK Cryptocurrency Touch Bracket Contracts. These contracts will be listed on or after trade date October 9, 2024.

SIFMA Conducts Successful Industry-Wide Business Continuity Test

SIFMA today issued the following statement from Charles DeSimone, SIFMA managing director and deputy head of technology, operations, and BCP, on SIFMA’s October 5, 2024 industry-wide business continuity test:
“SIFMA and its members make operational resilience a priority in order to protect clients, data, networks and operations from diverse cyber threats including theft, disruption and destruction. Last weekend we conducted our 2024 SIFMA Industry-Wide Business Continuity Test, which is designed to assess the ability of securities market participants to operate through a significant emergency from their primary or backup data centers and work area recovery sites and to examine the level of resiliency of the markets and the industry overall, and to provide firms and exchanges with an opportunity to test and evaluate their backup sites and backup communications with the markets on a single day."

Nodal Exchange Achieves New Records With 14% Growth In Power Futures And 227% Growth In Environmental Markets In September 2024

Nodal Exchange today announced significant growth in both power and environmental markets in the month of September. In power, Nodal set a calendar month record for September with 255 million MWh of traded power futures volume in the month, up 14% from the prior year. Nodal also achieved a Q3 trading record with 665 million MWh of traded power futures volume, up 16% from the prior year. Nodal continues to be the market leader in North American power futures having the majority of the open interest with 1.381 billion MWh at the end of September.
