  • Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange: Notice On Night Trading Session During 2021 New Year Holiday

    According to Detailed Rules for Trading in Night Session of Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, the Exchange hereby clarifies night trading session arrangement during 2021 New Year holiday as follows:

    No night trading session will be carried out on the night of December 31, 2021. Night trading session will be resumed on the night of January 4, 2021. The call auction session for all contracts on January 4, 2021 is from 08:55 a.m. to 09:00 a.m.

    Osaka Exchange, Inc. and Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc. have been developing the next-generation derivatives trading system (J-GATE3.0) to expand market liquidity and further improve reliability and convenience for investors, trading participants, and other market users. Based on the progress of our preparations, we hereby announce that the scheduled go-live date is September 21, 2021.

  • Nadex Temporarily Amends Binary Contracts Strike Width

    Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and Section 40.6(d) of the regulations promulgated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”) under the Act (the “Regulations”), North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”) hereby provides notice that due to increased volatility in the underlying markets upon which the Nadex contracts are based, Nadex made changes to the strike widths of various contracts during the week of December 21, 2020 as indicated in the Weekly Notice. 

  • MontrĂ©al Exchange: Early Closing Today - Exchange's Markets Closed December 25 And 26, 2020

    Interest rate derivative and sector index futures trading will cease at 1:30 p.m., equity, currency, ETF, index derivatives, FTSE index and share futures trading will cease at 1:00 p.m. and basis trade on close (BTC) trading will cease at 12:30 p.m. today, December 24, 2020. Furthermore, the Exchange's markets will be closed on December 25 and 26, 2020.

  • Nadex Initial Jobless Claims Expire December 23, 2020

    Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and section §40.6(a) of the regulations promulgated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”) under the Act (the “Regulations”), North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”) submitted to the Commission on December 23, 2020 notice that due to the President’s declaration of December 24, 2020 as a federal holiday, the Nadex Initial Jobless Claims Binary contracts were closed and settled on December 23, 2020 rather than December 24, 2020 as originally listed.  The Nadex Initial Jobless Claims Binary contracts will return to their regular listing schedule for the week of December 28, 2020.

  • CFTC Announces Review Of RSBIX NFL Futures Contracts Proposed By Eris Exchange, LLC

    The Commodity Futures Trading Commission today announced it has initiated a review, pursuant to CFTC Regulation 40.11(c), of RSBIX NFL futures contracts self-certified by Eris Exchange, LLC (ErisX) on December 15, 2020. ErisX self-certified three RSBIX NFL futures contracts: one based on the moneyline; the second on the point spread; and the third on total points for individual NFL games. Beginning today, the CFTC has 90 days—or longer as agreed to or requested by ErisX—to review and make a determination with respect to the submissions.

  • Nadex Refrains From Listing Certain Contracts

    Due to activity in the underlying markets upon which the Nadex contracts are based and pursuant to the authority granted in Nadex Rule 12.1(i), Nadex took the following actions: 

    • No GBP/JPY, USD/CAD, or EUR/JPY 5-Minute contracts were listed for the 6:05pm expiration time on trade date December 21, 2020;

    • No GBP/JPY or GBP/USD 5-Minute contracts were listed for the 6:05pm expiration time on trade date December 22, 2020;

    • No GBP/JPY or GBP/USD 5-Minute contracts were listed for the 6:05pm expiration time on trade date December 24, 2020.
