- In December 2024, the average daily number of trades was up 7% on the pcp. The average daily value traded onmarket of $5.291 billion was down 1% on the pcp.
- Volatility (as measured by the average daily movement in the All Ordinaries Index) was 0.6% in December, compared to 0.6% in the pcp.
- Future volatility (as measured by the S&P/ASX 200 VIX) in December was an average of 10.6, up 4% on pcp.

Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) continues to investigate and handle abnormal trading activities and violations for the purposes of performing front-line market supervision responsibilities, regulating futures trading activities, preventing and mitigating market risks and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of market participants. In December 2024, 17 cases of abnormal trading were investigated and handled.
