Master Plan Amendment For BIS Campus Open For Public Review

- Master plan amendment open for public review from 18 November to 17 December. The City of Basel's Construction and Transportation Department is responsible for the master plan procedure.
- The amendment to the master plan is sought to realise the design selected as part of an international competition.
- The BIS Campus Development project is expected to be in a design and planning phase until 2027, based on a proposed design by architectural firms ELEMENTAL and Nissen Wentzlaff Studio.

The ESAs Announce Timeline To Collect Information For The Designation Of Critical ICT Third-Party Service Providers Under The Digital Operational Resilience Act

The European Supervisory Authorities (EBA, EIOPA and ESMA – the ESAs) published today a Decision on the information that competent authorities must report to them for the designation of critical ICT third-party service providers under the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). In particular, the Decision requires competent authorities to report by 30 April 2025 the registers of information on contractual arrangements of the financial entities with ICT third-party service providers.

UK Financial Conduct Authority Fines And Bans Craig Buchan And Martin Cooke For Recklessly Breaching Requirements

Craig Buchan and Martin Cooke, former partners of MedDen Financial Services LLP (MedDen), have been fined £6,037 and £6,020 (respectively) and banned by the FCA for recklessly breaching an asset requirement imposed on the firm.

Today, the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) published consultation paper (CP) 15/24 proposing reforms to the UK Insurance Special Purpose Vehicle (UK ISPV) regulatory framework, through a combination of changes to the finalised PRA rules and policy materials also published today in policy statement (PS) 15/24 that will replace Solvency II assimilated law.
