Shanghai Stock Exchange Successfully Held Virtual Roadshow On ETF And Index Investing

The 2022 international virtual roadshow on ETF and index investing, launched recently by the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE), aimed at actively conveying the firm attitude of China’s capital market toward opening up and promoting the concept of value investment. The event attracted the registration and participation of the representatives of nearly 200 overseas investment institutions from Europe, America, Asia-Pacific and other regions, including leading asset management firms, sovereign wealth funds, endowment funds, pension funds and other renowned long-term investment institutions in the world.

ECHOS Holding AG: BaFin Prohibits Mandatory Offer

In a notice dated 08. April 2022, BaFin prohibited the mandatory offer made by Astutia Venture Capital AG, Walzenhausen, Switzerland, to the shareholders of ECHOS Holding AG, Frankfurt am Main, as announced in the German Federal Gazette (Bundesanzeiger) on 23. February 2022.

Helveteq Lists First Crypto ETPs On SIX Swiss Exchange

Today, Helveteq is listing two new crypto ETPs on Bitcoin (Bitcoin Zero / BTCO2) and Ethereum (Ether Zero / ETH2O) at SIX. “Crypto goes carbon neutral” is a research-based initiative – a cooperation of Helveteq with the Swiss FinTech Innovation Lab of the Institute for Banking and Finance at the University of Zurich. Helveteq is the third new crypto ETP issuer to join SIX this year.

ISDA: CFTC Requirement: Federal Entity Indicator

The amended CFTC Swap Data Reporting Rules require reporting of Federal Entity Indicator (#23 Counterparty 1/ #24 Counterparty 2). The ISDA Data & Reporting U.S. Compliance industry working group formed two alternatives of standardized language that may be used for any outreach. Reporting parties can elect to use either the CFTC Federal Entity Indicator – Negative Affirmation or Federal Entity Indicator – Affirmative Election provided at their discretion.

US Acting Comptroller Of The Currency Discusses Architecture Of Stablecoins

Acting Comptroller of the Currency Michael J. Hsu today discussed stablecoins at the Institute of International Economic Law at Georgetown University Law Center. In his remarks, Acting Comptroller Hsu discussed the architecture of a U.S. dollar-based stablecoin system, and policy considerations regarding stablecoin stability, interoperability and separability.

Nadex Temporarily Amends Binary Contracts Strike Width

Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and Section 40.6(d) of the regulations promulgated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”) under the Act (the “Regulations”), North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”) hereby provides notice that due to increased or decreased volatility, as the case may be, in the underlying markets upon which the Nadex contracts are based, Nadex made changes to the strike widths of various contracts during the week of April 4, 2022 as indicated in the Weekly Notice.
