Both traditional and crypto markets had negative movements in May, with the exception of the S&P500 which remained flat. All crypto moved sharply downward this month with the hardest hit being SOL, ETH and XRP which returned -46.0%, -28.8%, and -28.0% respectively.

- The average daily turnover in May 2022 was $119.4 billion, an increase of 2 per cent when compared with $116.7 billion in April 2022.
- The average daily turnover of ETFs for the first five months of 2022 was $9.3 billion, an increase of 45 per cent when compared with $6.4 billion for the same period last year.
- The average daily turnover of L&I Products for the first five months of 2022 was $2.0 billion, an increase of 67 per cent when compared with $1.2 billion for the same period last year.
- The average daily turnover of Debt Securities for the first five months of 2022 was $570 million, an increase of 63 per cent when compared with $350 million for the same period last year.
