US Justice Department Announces Report On Digital Assets And Launches Nationwide Network

The Department of Justice today announced significant actions regarding digital assets, including the public release of its report, pursuant to the President’s March 9 Executive Order on Ensuring Responsible Development of Digital Assets,  on The Role of Law Enforcement in Detecting, Investigating, and Prosecuting Criminal Activity Related to Digital Assets;[1] and the establishment of the nationwide Digital Asset Coordinator (DAC) Network, in furtherance of the department’s efforts to combat the growing threat posed by the illicit use of digital assets to the American public.

• The ECB launched a global call for banks and technology companies to participate in the project to which 54 institutions sent their expressions of interest. In addition to CaixaBank, companies Worldline, EPI, Nexi and Amazon were selected.
• CaixaBank was selected based on its extensive experience and leadership in the field of innovation, as well as excellence in the delivery and the quality of its services, internal capacity and market coverage.

Vienna Stock Exchange: PIERER Mobility To Join The ATX Global Players Index

Following the application of the index rules, the composition of the ATX Global Players index will be adjusted. Effective Monday, 19 September 2022, PIERER Mobility AG will be included and AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG will be removed from the index. This results from the review of the company's reports. The index rules stipulate that more than 20% of revenues must be generated outside Europe. Furthermore, the new composition of the ATX five (inclusion of Andritz, deletion of voestalpine) as well as the new free float factors will enter into force next Monday.
