SGX Cares Wraps Up Fundraising Year With Close To S$3 Million Raised For Its Beneficiaries - Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean Flagged Off The Charity Run Held At The Float @ Marina Bay

SGX Cares has concluded its fundraising efforts for the year with its 19th annual SGX Cares Bull Charge Charity Run, raising close to S$3 million for its beneficiaries. The hybrid event started its virtual run last month with 4,000 participants clocking close to 79,000km, and capped it off today with 2,500 runners thronging the Central Business District. The in-person run comprised a 5km Mass Run and 3.5km Chief Challenge involving CEOs and chiefs of companies.

CFFEX: Notice On Issues Related To The Delivery Of Equity Index Futures And Options Contracts

Pursuant to the Trading Rules of China Financial Futures Exchange and relevant detailed implementation rules, the last trading day of a CSI 300 Index futures, SSE 50 Index futures, CSI 500 Index futures, CSI 300 Index options, CSI 1000 Index futures, and CSI 1000 Index options contract is the third Friday of the expiry month. Where the last trading day is a public holiday or trading of that contract is suspended on that day for extraordinary situations or other reasons, the last trading day shall be postponed to the following trading day. Accordingly, the last trading day of IF2211, IH2211, IC2211, IO2211(CSI 300 Index options contracts expiring in November 2022), IM2211, and MO2211(CSI 1000 Index options contracts expiring in November 2022) is November 18, 2022.

Eminent Macroeconomist Ricardo Caballero Appointed Monetary Authority Of Singapore Term Professor At NUS

The National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) have jointly appointed Professor Ricardo Caballero as the MAS Term Professor in Economics and Finance from 14 to 25 November 2022. Professor Caballero will be hosted by the NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences’ Department of Economics, and the Economic Policy Group of MAS during the term of the Professorship.

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s New York Innovation Center (NYIC) and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) today announced Project Cedar Phase II x Ubin+, a joint experiment to investigate how wholesale central bank digital currencies (wCBDCs) could improve the efficiency of cross-border wholesale payments involving multiple currencies.

The Kanto Local Finance Bureau today issued an Order to Suspend Business and a Business Improvement Order to FTX Japan, Inc.（Chiyoda City, Tokyo; corporate number: 7010401115356; Crypto-asset Exchange Service Provider; Type I Financial Instruments Business Operator; hereinafter the "Company"）pursuant to the provisions of Article 63-17, paragraph (1) and Article 63-16 of the Payment Services Act, and also issued an Order to Suspend Business, an Order of Retention of Assets with in Japan and a Business Improvement Order to the Company pursuant to the provisions of Article 52, paragraph (1), Article 56-3 and Article 51 of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, respectively.
