  • Nadex Temporarily Amends Binary Contracts Strike Width

    Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and Section 40.6(d) of the regulations promulgated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”) under the Act (the “Regulations”), North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”) hereby provides notice that due to increased or decreased volatility, as the case may be, in the underlying markets upon which the Nadex contracts are based, Nadex made changes to the strike widths of various contracts during the week of December 26, 2022 as indicated in the Weekly Notice.

    The market opened for three trading days this week as the Federal Government of Nigeria declared Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th December 2022 a Public Holiday to mark the Christmas celebration. A total turnover of 1.880 billion shares worth N18.988 billion in 12,036 deals was traded this week by investors on the floor of the Exchange, in contrast to a total of 860.933 million shares valued at N16.134 billion that exchanged hands last week in 14,502 deals.   • ETFGI Reports ESG ETFs Listed Globally Gathered US$8.26 Billion In Net Inflows During November 2022

    ETFGI, a leading independent research and consultancy firm covering trends in the global ETFs/ETPs ecosystem, reported today that Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) ETFs listed globally gathered US$8.26 billion in net inflows during November, bringing year-to-date net inflows for 2022 to US$69.37 billion which is much lower than the US$147.93 billion in year-to-date net inflows gathered in 2021. During the month, total assets invested in ESG ETFs and ETPs increased by 10.6% from US$364 billion at the end of October 2022 to US$403 billion, according to ETFGI’s November 2022 ETF and ETP ESG industry landscape insights report, the monthly report which is part of an annual paid-for research subscription service.  (All dollar values in USD unless otherwise noted.)
