  • Eurex To Be First Exchange To List Derivatives Based On Dow Jones Global Titans 50 Index - First Futures And Options On Global Blue Chip Equity Index

    Eurex, the international derivatives exchange, and Dow Jones Indexes, a global index provider, have agreed that Eurex will list futures and options on the Dow Jones Global Titans 50 index. Eurex will become the world’s first exchange to list derivatives on a global blue chip index.

    Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) and Standard & Poor’ s (S&P) will make the following changes in S&P/TOPIX 150. Fujisawa Pharmaceutical Company added to S&P/TOPIX 150 TSE and S&P will replace Sakura Bank (8314) in the S&P/TOPIX 150 Index with FUJISAWA PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY (4511) after the close of trading on Monday, Mar. 26, 2001.   • CBOT Members Approve Rule Authorizing Certain Market Maker Programs

    Chicago Board of Trade members in a March 14, 2001, ballot voted in favor of a new rule to authorize the Chief Executive Officer of the Exchange to approve the implementation of market maker programs in the Municipal Bond complex, the Equity Index complex, and in products launched after December 31, 1999. The vote was 451 in favor, 43 2/6 against.
