Think Tools AG, Seventh Company To List On SWX New Market, Opens 159 % Above Offering Price

Think Tools AG, a company involved in knowledge management, were traded today for the first time on the SWX New Market. The offering price was set Thursday night at CHF 270.00. At the start of trading on SWX, the stock stood 159% above that level at CHF 700.00, representing a total market capitalization for the company of CHF 1,680 million.

The Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian stock exchanges have revised the composition of the Baltic List, adding two new companies, Pro Kapital and Tallinna Kaubamaja to the list of Baltic blue-chip securities. The changes are effective as of April 1, 2000.
CME Agency Note Futures Pass 10,000 Open Interest Mark

Open interest in the new 5- and 10-year agency note futures contracts traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange surpassed 10,000 for the first time at the close of trading yesterday, with a record 5,418 open positions in the 10-year product and 4,698 open contracts in the 5-year notes.

The New York Stock Exchange today released its weekly program-trading data submitted by its member firms. The report includes trading in all markets as reported to the NYSE for Mar. 13-17. This included program trading associated with the March 17 quarterly expiration of stock-index options and futures. The data indicated that during Mar. 13-17, program trading amounted to 23.0 percent of NYSE average daily volume of 1,241.4 million shares, or 285.9 million shares a day.
