The stock futures market changes include standardising the contract specifications, where the contract multipliers of the existing stock futures contracts will be changed to one board lot size of their underlying shares, the same as the contract size for stock options.     Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) and CheMatch.com, Inc., today announced a launch date of September 21 for the CME-CheMatch benzene futures contract announced earlier this year. On the same day, CME will launch a second co-branded chemicals product with CheMatch- mixed xylenes futures, officials said today.

    Complementing its existing DowSMJones complex, the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) announced today that it will launch a mini-sized DowSMfutures contract based on the DJIASM (DowSMJones Industrial Average) on September 30, 2001. The CBOT® will launch this new contract exclusively on the a/c/e trading platform.
