  • The Central Bank Of Iceland Auctions Repurchase Agreements For 30.9 Billion Krónur

    The Central Bank of Iceland held a weekly auction of repurchase agreements on July 3 of the maturity of 14 days. The auction was a fixed rate one at 10.9 per cent p.a. Offers were made for a total amount of 30.9 billion krónur resulting in repurchase contracts for that amount.

  • SGX Derivatives Trade Record Volume For First Half Year, Several Other Records Broken In June

    Singapore Exchange (SGX) announced today that total trading volume for derivatives has reached its highest peak for any January-June period, with 15,128,829 contracts traded. This is an increase of 3.31%, compared to the previous record of 14,644,006 contracts set last year.

  • RTS: Share Of EAC Processed Trades Grew By 21% In The 1st Half Of The Year

    In the first 6 months of the year 98% of all the trades executed in the RTS Trading System were processed through the RTS Electronic Agreements Center. If compared to 77% in the 2nd half of 2000, the share of trades processed through the RTS EAC increased by 21%. All in all 38 507 P&S agreements out of the total 39 312 agreements made by the RTS participants were processed in the RTS Electronic Agreements Center (RTS EAC).

  • Philadelphia Stock Exchange Continues To Set Record Volume

    The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) announced today that it set record high equity options volume for June 2001 when a reported 7,374,506 contracts traded. This represents a 52 % increase over the same month last year when 4,856,628 contracts traded.

  • Nymex Announces Brent Launch Date - Trading Hours - Permit Program

    The board of directors of New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., last night voted to introduce its Brent crude oil futures contract for trading on Wednesday, September 5, and also approved trading hours and the framework for a permit program.
