HKFE Announces Revised Margins For Futures Contracts

Based upon the December 5th market close in the December 2001 expiration, the Chicago Board of Trade 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract is currently pricing in a 80 percent probability that the Federal Open Market Committee will lower the federal funds target rate by at least 25 basis points from 2 percent to 1-3/4 percent at the FOMC meeting on December 11 (versus a 20 percent probability of no rate cut).

Copenhagen Stock Exchange: November Saw The Highest Turnover In Five Months On The Equity Market And The Highest Turnover On The Bond Market In More Than Two Years

Equity trading in November was the highest since the Exchange implemented the new reporting rules in July 2001. The average daily trading in November was DKK 1.8 billion, which was 20 per cent higher than in October. The total trading in shares in November reached DKK 39.4 billion in market value.

Stock Exchange Of Thailand Securities Trading In Nov. 2001 Up 77%, Led By Top Active INET

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) President, Mr. Kittiratt Na-Ranong, disclosed that SET securities trading in November recorded a total market turnover of 18,369.38 million shares in volume and 120,578.87 million baht in value, increased by 52,575.33 million baht from October or 77.31%. The SET Index closed on November 30 at 302.62, up by 27.53 points or 10.01 % from the previous month, and having Internet Thailand Public Co Ltd (INET) as the most active stock.
