FUTOP: Change In Calculation And Announcement Of Expiration Price On 15 December
For FUTOP instruments traded in ELECTRA the last trading day will be the day prior to the expiration day. FUTOP instruments traded in CLICK are tradable throughout the entire expiration day until 17:00. In the FUTOP system the instruments expire between 11:00 and 12:00 on the expiration day, while the new platform allows the instruments to expire between 9:00 and 17:00.

Danish Interest-Rate Derivatives Cleared In The Swedish Secur System
The OM Fixed Income Exchange has signed an agreement on clearing of Danish interest-rate derivatives. The agreement implies that futures on a government bond and a basket of mortgage bonds will be listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

CME S&P 500, Nasdaq 100 Futures Set Open Interest Records - S&P MidCap 400 Set Volume & Open Interest Records
For six consecutive sessions, open interest in S&P 500 Index futures traded on Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) has continued to surge, reaching 494,331 open positions on Dec. 4 and rising 7.9 percent to a record 533,476 positions at the close of trading on Monday, Dec. 11.

CBOT To Launch 5-Year Agency Note Futures And Options Jan. 12
The Chicago Board of Trade announced today that it will launch its 5-year Agency Note futures and options contracts on Friday, January 12, 2001, starting at 9:00 a.m. (Chicago time) in open outcry. The contracts will begin trading on the electronic trading system, a/c/eSM, at 8:00 p.m. (Chicago time) on Monday, January 15, 2001.

MSCI To Adjust For Free Float And To Increase Coverage To 85%
MSCI announced today that it will adjust all its equity indices for free float, and that it will increase the target market representation of its Standard Index series from 60% to 85% coverage. The combined changes will be implemented in two separate phases, as of the close of November 30, 2001 and as of the close of May 31, 2002, respectively. Inclusion Weight Of MSCI Taiwan To Remain Unchanged
MSCI announced today that the inclusion weight of the MSCI Taiwan Index SM in the MSCI Emerging Markets Free (EMF) Index SM series and the MSCI All Country World Index (ACWI) Free SM series, including the MSCI All Country Far East Free ex Japan Index SM , will remain at its current level of 80% of its total market capitalization.
