Euronext.Liffe Announces A Further 3 Italian Stock Futures

Euronext.liffe, the derivatives business of Euronext, has announced that it will list a further 3 Universal Stock Futures from Monday 31 March 2003. From that date a total of 116 Universal Stock Futures will be available, the greatest number and broadest range of international single stock futures on any exchange in the world, cleared and settled through a single clearing system and traded under a single regulatory regime.<

Euronext Amsterdam N.V. Launches investigation Into Koninklijke Ahold N.V.

Euronext Amsterdam is launching an investigation to establish whether Koninklijke Ahold N.V. ("Ahold") complied with the requirement to provide information as stipulated in the Listing and Issuing Rules. The investigation will focus in particular on compliance with Article 28h of the rules.

Dow Jones Indexes Launches Islamic Blue-Chip Indexes

Dow Jones Indexes today announced the expansion of its family of blue-chip indexes as well as its Dow Jones Islamic Market Indexes by adding the global Dow Jones Islamic Market Titans 100 and three subset blue-chip indexes - the Dow Jones US Islamic Titans 50, the Dow Jones Europe Islamic Titans 25 and the Dow Jones Asia/Pacific Titans 25.

Daily Turnover In The MICEX Stock Market Section Reaches 15,52 Billion Rubles - A Historical Record In The Whole Period Of Stock Trades On The MICEX

As a result of the trading session, held on the MICEX 19 February, 2003, trades turnover in the Stock Market Section reached 15,52 billion rubles (about 492 million dollars). This is a record turnover in the history of stock trades on the MICEX, which were launched in March, 1997. The previous record of 19 November, 2002, was 14,52 billion rubles. Chicago Mercantile Exchange And Merrill Lynch Announce Amendments To Rules For Long-Short Technology TRAKRS Index

Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) and Merrill Lynch (NYSE: MER) today announced that Merrill Lynch has amended the rules for the Long-Short Technology TRAKRSSM Index, a total return index designed by Merrill Lynch and composed of long positions in individual technology stocks, short positions in technology sectors or sub-sectors, and a possible cash component, effective March 24, 2003.
