    The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced today that it has simplified and broadened access to its automatic execution systems in all equity option classes to include broker-dealers and firms. Eligible orders may now receive automatic execution for up to the disseminated size in all equity option classes via CBOE's Retail Automated Execution System (RAES) and the Large Order Utility (LOU) system.   • BrokerTec Futures Exchange Feed Now Available Via Bloomberg - Expands Distribution of BTEX Market Data

    BrokerTec Futures Exchange, L.L.C. (BTEX), the nation's only fully-electronic fixed income futures exchange, announced today that its exchange feed will now be available via Bloomberg's desktop terminals. Bloomberg's 170,000 users will now have access to streaming, real-time market data on BTEX's U.S. interest rate derivatives products - U.S Treasury Bonds (15 - 30 Year), Long-Term U.S. Treasury Notes (6 ½ - 10 Year), and Medium-Term U.S. Treasury Notes (5 Year).

  • SGX JGB Futures Break Records; Interest In MECO Futures Growing

    Singapore Exchange Ltd (SGX) yesterday announced that its Mini Japanese Government Bond (JGB) Futures contract traded a record volume of 54,567 contracts on 7 March 2003, surpassing its previous record of 38,860 contracts set on 5 December 2000. Its open interest also reached a record of 55,443 contracts on the same day, exceeding its previous record of 33,639 contracts on 5 Jun 2001.
