Euronext.liffe Launches Two New Belgian Equity Options - Three-Month Fee Holiday On Barco And Omega Pharma Options

From 13 October Euronext.liffe, the international derivatives business of Euronext, will offer options on Barco and Omega Pharma on the LIFFE CONNECTâ trading platform, in response to customer demand. These listings will be on Euronext.liffe Brussels and will increase Euronext.liffe's Belgian equity options offering to 17 and provide customers with 90% coverage of the BEL20â Index.

Deutsche Bundesbank And Clearstream: New Settlement Model For German Market To Be Launched November 17 - Market Requirements Are Being Implemented - Attractiveness Of German Market Increases

Clearstream Banking Frankfurt, the settlement organization of Deutsche Börse Group, and Deutsche Bundesbank will introduce the new settlement model for the German market on November 17, 2003. This model changes the method used in cash clearing and results in a long term improvement of the reliability and efficiency of securities settlement.

CBOT: Mini-sized Dow Topples Record - Over 77,000 Traded

For the second time in less than a week, the CBOT® mini-sized DowSM broke its daily trading record. On September 30, 2003 the mini-sized Dow traded 77,159 contracts toppling its previous record of 68,752 traded on September 24.

CBOT Fed Funds September Settlement

The CBOT® 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract for September 2003 was cash settled on October 1 at a final settlement price of 98.990, for an average daily effective federal funds rate of 1.010 percent during the delivery month. Please refer to the attached spreadsheet for more information regarding the calculation of this settlement.

CBOE Exchange-Wide Volume Surged 34% In September - Largest Single Month Gain Since May 2000

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced today that September exchange-wide volume increased 34%, while total equity options volume spiked 42% and total index options volume rose 23% when compared to the year-ago totals.
