CBOE Announces Columbus Day Holiday Trading Schedule

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that interest rate/treasury products traded at CBOE will close at 12:00 Noon Central Daylight Time (CDT), on Friday, October 10, in conjunction with the early close of the underlying products, and will not be open for trading on Monday, October 13, 2003.

Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index change effective after the close of business on Tuesday, October 7, 2003: The relative weight of Biovail Corporation (TSX:BVF) will increase by approximately 5.81% in the S&P/TSX Capped Health Care Index. The Philadelphia Stock Exchange announced today that volume in all of its products increased compared to last month's volumes. In addition, equity option market share increased 4.5% since August, rising to 13.81%. Compared to the same year-ago period, market share in equity options jumped 8%.
