On the occasion the Exchange launched a new website; a conference Accession of the Lithuanian Capital Market to the Single Market of the European Union was held; the guidebook Practical Steps to Building Investor Relations Practice was issued and donated to our market participants, acknowledgments and awards to the most active participants and contributors to the Exchange were made.

London Stock Exchange To Launch Dutch Trading Service - Clearnet To Provide Central Counterparty Facilities

The London Stock Exchange today announced that it has signed an agreement with Clearnet to provide the central counterparty for its full, bespoke equity trading service in Dutch securities.

IPE Posts Second Total Volume Records In A Row

The International Petroleum Exchange (IPE), Europe's leading energy futures and options exchange, established a new market record on the 10th October, for a second consecutive day when a total of 239,954 lots were traded on the Exchange. This surpassed the previous record set on the 9th October 2003 when 233,136 lots were traded across the Exchange, an increase of 3%. This new record represents a traded value in excess of $7 Billion.

Eurex's Chicago Subsidiary Files Antitrust Lawsuit - CBOT's Financial Inducement To The Clearing Corporation Shareholders Violates Sherman Act - Charges CBOT And CME With Anticompetitive Behavior

U.S. Futures Exchange, L.L.C., the Chicago-based Eurex subsidiary, today is filing an antitrust action in federal court against the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) for illegally attempting to block the entrance of a new competitor to the market. Commodity Futures Trading Commission Statement On US Futures Exchange

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission is today announcing its determination to consider the application of the United States Futures Exchange LLC outside the 60-day framework of the Commission's "fast track" contract market designation procedure. The fast track designation process requires Commission action on an application for contract market designation within 60 days of filing. The United States Futures Exchange application was filed on September 16, 2003.
