New Baltic Exchange Tanker Route

The Baltic Exchange has announced it will report on a new dirty tanker route. This new route will be known as TD10D and follows consultation with the industry and recent market developments. The route description will be: 50,000 mt Caribbean to USAC fuel oil Aruba to New York with laydays/cancelling 7/14 days in advance. Double hull vessel, maximum age 20 years.

NASD Bars Todd Eberhard, Former Park South Chairman And Once-Popular Television Personality - Violations Include Fraudulent Trading, Improper Settlements With Customers, Failure To Make Required Regulatory Disclosures, Providing False And Misleading Testi

NASD announced today that it has barred Todd M. Eberhard, the former chairman of New York’s Park South Securities, LLC, from the securities industry for federal securities fraud and other, multiple violations of NASD rules. Eberhard was known to millions as a guest analyst and commentator who appeared frequently on financial television programs on CNN, CNNfn, CNBC, Fox News Channel and on PBS’ Nightly Business Report.

For the week of January 24th – January 28th, 2005, total trading volume on FORTS (Futures & Options on the RTS) increased by 16% in rubles and 11% in contracts and reached 8 130 million rubles and 1 025 thousand contracts. Total open interest as of January 28th, 2005, increased by 10% in rubles and 5% in contracts and equaled 10 725 million rubles and 1 299 thousand contracts.

First New Listing In Germany In 2005 - Lanxess Listed On The Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB) - First Price Determination On Xetra

Lanxess AG’s listing in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB) on Monday represents the first new listing of the year. The announcement was made by Deutsche Börse AG, as operator of the FWB. Lanxess’s shares were initially priced at € 15.75. The initial price was determined on Xetra, the pan-European trading platform. Lead managers of the issue were Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley.
