Dalian Commodity Exchange Sets 2 New Daily Volume Records

The Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) announced that it sets new daily volume records for corn and total in today's trading. Top daily volume record of corn futures climbed to 2,442,924 contracts and eclipsing the prior record of 1,655,464 contracts set on Noverber 27, 2006. Top daily volume record of total products climbed to 2,832,566 contracts and eclipsing the prior record of 2,145,316 contracts set on November 27, 2006.

Against the background of the ongoing integration of the European energy markets European Energy Exchange AG (EEX) will launch the Spot Market for Power for Switzerland on 11 December. At first, daily hourly auctions are to be launched. The trading process provides for an independent Swiss market area to be formed for which separate pricing will be carried out.
