CME, the world's largest and most diverse financial exchange, today announced average daily volume in February was 4.7 million contracts, up 26 percent from the same period a year ago. Total monthly volume was more than 90 million contracts. Average daily volume on the CME Globex electronic trading platform increased 30 percent from the same period a year ago to 3.2 million contracts per day, representing 68 percent of total exchange trading. The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) today announced February 2006 average daily volume (ADV) increased 9 percent to 3,528,676 contracts, compared with 3,231,548 contracts in February 2005. In addition, Exchange volume for February climbed to its highest monthly total ever, reaching a record 67,044,843 contracts.

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced today that trading volume for the month of February totaled 45.4 million contracts, an increase of 44% over February 2005. 108 Million Contracts Traded On Eurex In February, Up 7 Percent On 2005 - Trading And Open Interest In French And Italian Equity Options Increases Sharply - Single Stock Futures Continue To Gain Market Share

Eurex, the world's largest derivatives exchange, reported on Wednesday that it traded a total of 108 million contracts in February, an increase of approximately 7 percent on February 2005. Approximately 5.4 million contracts per day were traded. Open interest at Eurex also continued to rise; at 107 million contracts at the end of February it was 39 percent higher than the same period in the previous year (February 2005: 77 million contracts).

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Tuesday, February 28, 2006: Far West Mining Ltd. (TSXVN:FWM) will be removed from the index. The company will graduate to the TSX to trade under the same ticker symbol at the opening of trading on March 1, 2006.
