Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Friday, December 14, 2007: Primary Metals Inc. (TSXVN:PMI) will be removed from the index. The company's shares have been acquired by Sojitz Tungsten Resources Inc. pursuant to a takeover bid circular.
SIFMA Finalizes Revised Guidelines On Delivery Of Offering Materials Relating To GSE Securities

The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) today released the final version of its revised guidelines for delivery of offering materials relating to GSE securities. The revisions move the guidelines to an “access = delivery” model by permitting electronic delivery of documentation for GSE securities. SIFMA recommends implementing the revised guidelines for when there is a delivery obligation

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus, S&P Euro and S&P United Kingdom indices, effective after the close of trading on Friday 21 December 2007: SSAB-Svenskt Stal B (Sweden, SEDOL: B17H3F6 GICS: Materials, GICS Code: 15104050) will replace MLP AG (Germany, SEDOL: 5720273, GICS: Financials, GICS Code: 40203010) in the S&P Europe and S&P Euro Plus indices. SEC: Fee Rate Advisory #4 For Fiscal Year 2008

The continuing resolution funding the Securities and Exchange Commission for fiscal year 2008 since Oct. 1, 2007, is being extended through Dec. 21, 2007. Therefore, fees paid under Section 6(b) of the Securities Act of 1933 and Sections 13(e), 14(g) and 31 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 will remain at their current rates.

The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. (NASDAQ(r)) (Nasdaq:NDAQ) today announced its matched volume in all U.S. securities was 47.5 billion shares, an increase from 27.9 billion in November 2006.
