Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) and Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited (Hang Seng Indexes) today (Tuesday) announced an agreement on HKEx's use of the Hang Seng Industry Classification System (HSICS) for the classification of all Hong Kong-listed companies.
Wiener Börse Launches CECE MID CAP Index

Today, Wiener Börse has starting calculating and publishing a new regional index, the CECE MID CAP Index (CECE MID). It is composed of the 30 most-actively traded and highly-capitalized stocks listed on the exchanges of Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe that would normally belong to the index universe of the CECE Extended Index, but are not included because of their lower market capitalization or trading volumes. The MICEX Buys 100% Of Shares In URCEX To Promote The Development Of The MICEX Group’s Regional Branches

Implementing the MICEX Group’s regional development strategy, the MICEX has acquired 100% stake in the Urals Regional Currency Exchange (URCEX), thus becoming the only shareholder in this regional exchange. On 5 December it was decided to amend the charter of the URCEX and turn it into the Regional Exchange Center "MICEX - Urals.”
