Tokyo Stock Exchange: Special Changes To Handling Of Indexes Before And After Implementation Of Electronic Shares Certificates (Paperless Shares Certificates)

When the paperless system takes effect on January 5, 2009, several listed companies plan to conduct stock splits and adopt a share unit system in order to organize odd lots into normal trading units (an amount of a security less than the one unit of trading for that particular security) that will not be included in the transfer system, These issues will be suspended from trading from December 25, 2008 to December 30, 2008.
