Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes: The shareholders of Cumberland Resources Ltd. (TSX:CLG) have accepted the share exchange offer from Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited (TSX:AEM). Cumberland Resources Ltd. will be removed from the S&P/TSX Global Gold Index after the close of trading on Wednesday, April 18, 2007. Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Tuesday, April 17, 2007: International Hi-Tech Industries Inc. (TSXVN:IHI) will be removed from the index. The company has requested to be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange.
