Closing Value Of Straits Times Index Today Is 2,592.90 Points

Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) has become aware that there was a delay in the update of the closing value of the Straits Times Index (STI) today. The actual closing value of the STI today is 2,592.90 points, and not 2,605.39 points as displayed earlier.

As of 1st September 2009, EEX Power Spot will be merged into EPEX Spot SE with registered offices in Paris. However, an operating unit of EPEX Spot SE supporting the German customers will be retained in Leipzig.

Standard & Poor’s Announces Changes To The S&P U.S. Carbon Efficient Index

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P U.S. Carbon Efficient Index: Cooper Industrials Ltd. (USA, SEDOL: 2949435, GICS Code: 20104010) will be deleted from the S&P U.S. Carbon Efficient Index after the close of trading on September 8, 2009. Cooper Industrials is in the process of redomesticating to Ireland, rendering it ineligible for continued inclusion in the S&P 500 and S&P U.S. Carbon Efficient Indices.
