HKFE Announces Revised Margins For H-Shares Index Futures Contract
Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Thursday, 17 May 2007, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contract will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company's normal procedures and standard margining methodology.

CBOE Prevails: ISE Loses Its Motion To Dismiss CBOE'S Lawsuit In Illinois State Court
Today, CBOE, Dow Jones, and McGraw-Hill/Standard & Poor's (S&P) won the right to maintain their lawsuit against the International Securities Exchange (ISE) in Illinois state court. The court denied ISE's motion to dismiss the lawsuit, which was filed to prevent ISE from misappropriating CBOE's exclusive rights to list and trade index options on the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average.
