The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) hereby announces the market closure schedule for the 2009 Tomb Sweeping Day according to the "SSE Holiday Schedule for 2009" (Shang Zheng Jiao Zi [2008] No.22). The SSE will close from April 4 (Saturday) to April 6, 2009 (Monday) and open for trading on April 7, 2008 (Tuesday). Please make relevant arrangements according to the notice.
Two Arrested In UK’s Financial Services Authority Insider Dealing Investigation

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) today arrested two people, including a senior corporate finance adviser, in connection with an ongoing investigation into suspected organised insider dealing. Search warrants were also executed by the FSA at a number of addresses in Greater London as part of the investigation.

Vienna Stock Exchange Launches Four Russian Sector Indices

The Vienna Stock Exchange today announces the launch of four sector indices for Russia: RTX Mining & Metals Index (RTX MET), RTX Energy Index (RTX NRG), RTX Oil & Gas Index (RTX OIL) and RTX Telecom Index (RTX TEL). All four indices are capitalization-weighted price indices. They include the most actively traded stocks with the highest market capitalization listed on the MICEX (Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange).
