The consolidated net after tax profits of HELEX for H1 2009 amounted to EUR16.9m vs. EUR35.7m in H1 2008, reduced by 53%. The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announces that with effect from 5 August 2009 (Wednesday), 49 additional securities will be eligible for short selling and 16 existing designated securities will be removed from the list.
