SEC Charges Detroit-Area Stock Broker Who Lured Elderly Into $250 Million Ponzi Scheme

The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged Detroit-area stock broker Frank Bluestein with fraud, alleging that he lured elderly investors into a $250 million Ponzi scheme after convincing many of them to refinance their home mortgages.

Court Ordered The Directors Of Datuk Keramat Holdings Berhad And George Town Holdings Berhad To Pay Fines And Cost To Bursa Securities

Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) would like to announce that the High Court of Kuala Lumpur had on 18 September 2009 ordered Azimuddin bin Abd Ghani and Mohd Nor bin Abdul Raman, the directors of both Datuk Keramat Holdings Berhad and George Town Holdings Berhad to pay the fines imposed by Bursa Securities for breaches of the Listing Requirements. In addition, the directors were also ordered to pay the legal costs incurred.
