Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index
Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Thursday, December 20, 2007: ARISE Technologies Corporation (TSXVN:APV) will be removed from the index. The company will graduate to trade on the TSX under the same ticker symbol. Response Biomedical Corp. (TSXVN:RBM) will be removed from the index. The company will graduate to trade on the TSX under the same ticker symbol.

The American Stock Exchange® (Amex®) member and non-member organizations today reported short interest of 1,133,551,529 shares as of the November 30, 2007 settlement date, a decrease of 7,877,154 from the 1,141,428,683 (adjusted) shares reported on November 15, 2007. Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/TOPIX 150 and S&P Japan 500 Indices effective after the close of trading Friday, December 28, 2007: Pioneer Corp. (Japan, SEDOL: 6688745, GICS: Consumer Discretionary, GICS Code: 25201010) a member of the S&P/TOPIX 150 and S&P Japan 500 indices, shares will increase by 30,000,000 to 210,063,836 due to the private placement.

Chinese National Petroleum Corporation Assets Management Co., Ltd. (CNPCAM) And Chicago Climate Exchange® (CCX®) Sign A Memorandum Of Understanding To Explore Emissions Trading Platform In China
CNPCAM and CCX have signed a memorandum of understanding to create a joint venture company to explore the feasibility and implementation of an emissions trading platform in China. Details of the collaboration will be defined in the coming months.

NYSE Euronext (NYX) will announce earnings for the fourth quarter and full-year 2007, ending Dec. 31, 2007, before the market opens on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008.
