BOX Makes Trading Even Easier - Expansion Of Make Or Take And Elimination Of The MAC
The Boston Options Exchange (BOX) announced today a fee filing with the SEC to expand the “Make or Take” model to include the 25 most liquid non-penny pilot names, and to eliminate the minimum activity charge (MAC). The enhancements and changes are effective today.

Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Sets Record For November Volume
Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Inc. ("WCE") total volume of trade for November 2007 was 281,961 contracts, setting a record volume for the month of November. This level of trade is 30.1% higher than a year ago. The previous record for November volume was set in 2000 when a total of 231,224 futures and options contracts were traded.

SEC Sues Maxim Integrated Products And Former Senior Officers In Stock Option Backdating Scheme - Former CEO Agrees To Pay $800,000
The Securities and Exchange Commission today filed civil charges against Maxim Integrated Products, Inc., a Silicon Valley semiconductor company, and the company's former CEO and CFO, alleging that they reported false financial information to investors by improperly backdating stock option grants to Maxim employees and directors.

UK’s Financial Services Authority Announces RDR Timetable
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) today announced a change to the timetable for publishing feedback on the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) Discussion Paper. An interim paper will be delivered ahead of schedule in April 2008, with full implementation plans in October.
