Today, the Tokyo Stock Exchange approved the listing of the "NEXT FUNDS S&P CNX Nifty Linked Exchange Traded Fund" managed by Nomura Asset Management Co., Ltd.. The ETF is planned to be listed on Thursday, November 26, 2009.

NYSE Euronext (NYX) today announced trading volumes for its global cash equities and derivatives exchanges for October 20091. Trading volumes in October 2009 were mostly lower compared to October 2008 levels, during which crisis-level volatility drove record trading volumes. The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that three experts in the fields of risk management, structured finance and corporate transactions have been named to senior positions at the SEC's newly-established Division of Risk, Strategy, and Financial Innovation. The Division was created in September to enhance the agency's capabilities and help identify developing risks and trends in the financial markets.
