Islamic Development Bank Lists Inaugural Ringgit Sukuk On Bursa Malaysia

The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) today listed its RM1.0 billion sukuk Medium Term Note (MTN) Programme on Bursa Malaysia, marking the first multilateral development bank to list its Ringgit sukuk MTN Programme on the Exchange. The sukuk was issued via IDB's special purpose vehicle, Tadamun Services Berhad and it is the inaugural sukuk by IDB to be issued in local currency.

Schapiro regarding today's announcement by the Board of Trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) that the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) will expand to seven members. In addition, FASB Chairman Robert Herz has decided to retire from the FASB, and current FASB member Leslie Seidman has been appointed Acting Chairman effective October 1.
