Cooperation Between The Hungarian Power Exchange HUPX And EPEX Spot

HUPX, the Hungarian Power Exchange, and EPEX Spot have decided to cooperate towards HUPX’s operational launch, envisaged in July 2010. The scope of this cooperation encompasses trading systems and services. The clearing activities will be handled by European Commodity Clearing AG (ECC), which already provides clearing and settlement for all EPEX Spot markets.

Singapore Exchange Limited (“SGX”) today introduced changes to SGXNet Announcement Templates as part of its ongoing efforts in fostering a transparent and well-informed marketplace. This is to assist investors in retrieving information crucial to their investment decisions and to increase the level of disclosure by issuers. These changes, which will be effective 10 January 2010, comprise four new information categories and revisions to two existing announcement categories.

Dow Jones Corporate Bond Index To Underlie First Fixed Income Exchange-Traded Note In Israel

Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced that the Dow Jones Corporate Bond Index will serve as the basis of the first fixed-income exchange-traded note (ETN) available in Israel. This is the first time the index has been licensed as the basis for an exchange-traded product globally.
