d-cypha SFE Australian Electricity Options Volume Sets New Daily Record
d-cypha SFE Australian Electicity Options contracts set a new daily record of 275 calendar contracts (exceeding the previous record of 265 contracts set on 2/07/08). This equates to 2.4 million MWh with a face value of approximately $125 million, exceeding the previous record by 4%.

STOXX Announces Changes To Its Blue-Chip And Style Indexes - Regular Annual Review To Be Effective On September 22, 2008
STOXX Ltd. today announced the results of the regular annual review of the Dow Jones STOXX 50, Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50, Dow Jones STOXX NORDIC 30 and Dow Jones STOXX EU Enlarged 15 blue-chip indexes as well as the results of the annual review of its style indexes. The changes will be effective on September 22, 2008.

Eurex: Trading Volume Of 126 Million Contracts In August - Growth Of 11 Percent In First Eight Months 2008 Compared With Jan - Aug 2007
Trading volume at the international derivatives exchange Eurex reached 126.2 million contracts, compared with 175.1 million in August 2007 and 107 million in August 2006. The decrease of 28 percent in comparison with August 2007 is due to the start of the US credit crisis, which resulted in high volumes in August 2007. Deutsche Börse: 14 Million Trades Executed On Xetra In August - Total Volume Of €146 Billion Traded On All Stock Exchanges In Germany
In August 2008, the number of trades executed on Xetra reached 13.8 million transactions – down 28 percent compared to August 2007 with 19.3 million trades. Order book turnover on Xetra recorded €127.3 billion (August 2007: €251.5 billion), down by 49 percent. The decrease in comparison with the same month last year is attributed to the beginning of the U.S. subprime that resulted in high volumes in August 2007.

Companies listed at the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange have finished disclosure of their interim reports of 2008 by 31 August 2008. 10 out of the 268 companies have included their financial information in listing-related documents.

Shenzhen Stock Exchange: Main Board Companies Enjoy Performance Increase
By 30 August 2008, 488 companies listed at the main board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange disclosed interim report for the first half of 2008. Statistics from the exchange showed that those companies maintained an upward tendency in performance despite negative elements from both domestic and international economy.
