Dubai Financial Market (DFM) announced today it will apply the three decimal Tick Size system only on securities with a market value below AED 1, as of Thursday, March 11th 2010. This will allow investors to trade in these securities with fractions of one Fills.

CBOE Grants License For Volatility Indexes To CME Group

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that it has entered into a license agreement with CME Group that extends the reach of CBOE's volatility franchise. STOXX Limited, a global index provider and creator of the leading European equity indices, today announced the result of the annual review of the STOXX Select Dividend Index series and the STOXX Global Grand Prix Index; as well as the result of the semi-annual review of the STOXX TMI Growth and STOXX TMI Value indices, its respective large, mid- and small sub-indices as well as the respective indices for the Euro zone. CME Group, CBOE To Develop Volatility Indexes Across Multiple Asset Classes - New Indexes To Combine CME Group Market Data With CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) Methodology

CME Group, the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, today announced it has entered into a seven-year license agreement with the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) that will allow CME Group to list futures and options on futures for volatility indexes on a variety of asset classes. These contracts will be listed with, and subject to, the rules and regulations of the particular exchange where the products will be traded (CME, CBOT or NYMEX).

MGEX Ownership Eliminates Restriction On Deliverable Stocks For Its Hard Red Spring Wheat Contract

MGEX reported its ownership voted to eliminate a potential restriction on deliverable stocks of Hard Red Spring Wheat (HRSW) for delivery against its flagship HRSW futures contract. The vote removes Rule 803.02., and returns MGEX to a neutral position regarding the potential delivery of transgenic wheat. The Rulebook update will be effective with the March 2012 contract month.
