Tokyo Commodity Exchange today announced that September 2010 trading volume averaged 91,524 contracts per day, up 11.1% from August 2010. Gold standard, which is the Exchange’s most traded commodity, increased by 21.7% from the previous month to 39,497 contracts per day and gold mini went up by 34.9% to 7,698 contracts per day, both contributing to the recovery of the trading volume. NASDAQ OMX (NASDAQ:NDAQ) announces that it has launched a clearing service for the repo market together with market participants. As a result of an agreement between the Swedish Money Market Council and NASDAQ OMX, the entire Swedish Interbank repo market will ultimately be cleared through NASDAQ OMX Stockholm AB.

NYSE Euronext (NYX) today announced trading volumes for its global derivatives and cash equities exchanges for September 2010[1].
