Utah-Based 4NExchange And Two Individuals Ordered To Pay $720,000 In Penalties To Resolve CFTC Charges Of Fraud And Misappropriation In Foreign Currency Scam
The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced that a federal court judge ordered defendants 4NExchange, a Utah limited liability company, Paul R. Grant, formerly of Alpine, Utah, and Ronald K. Bassett formerly of Lindon, Utah, to pay a total of $720,000 in civil monetary penalties as a result of violating the anti-fraud provisions of federal commodities law.

General Counsel Brian Cartwright Leaving SEC To Return To Private Sector
The Securities and Exchange Commission announced today that its General Counsel, Brian G. Cartwright, has informed the Commission that he plans to return to the private sector. During his tenure, he helped shape the Commission’s major policy and regulatory initiatives and counseled the Commission on virtually every matter that came before it, including enforcement actions, rulemakings, appellate briefs and adjudications.

ICE Millions FX And Russell 1000 Index Mini(R) Set Daily Volume Records - Nine Consecutive Days Of Growth For ICE Millions
ICE Futures U.S.(R), a leading regulated U.S. futures exchange for global agricultural, equity index and currency markets, reported record volume in its new ICE Millions foreign exchange futures contracts of 735 contracts, or 7,350 mini-equivalent contracts, on November 19. The exchange also announced a new daily volume record for the Russell 1000(R) Index Mini futures contracts of 2,161 contracts.
