    Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX) and Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to share information and best practices pertaining to product development, business & marketing initiatives, technology, and also in the areas of mutual interest of derivatives markets in India and Taiwan.

  • Thai Bourse Adds XN Sign To Inform Of Funds Returned From Capital Decrease

    The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has added a new sign, called “XN” (Excluding capital return) to inform investors about their rights and benefits, and when they will receive their refunds in instances where the issuer has decreased capital. The new sign will become effective from January 4, 2011, onwards.

  • Osaka Securities Exchange SPAN Parameter

    OSE has set up SPAN Parameter for calculating margin requirements as follows. This SPAN Parameter is used for calculating "SPAN Risk Parameter Files" which are distributed on a daily basis. OSE sets and publishes new Parameters on the first business day of each week, which are applicable from the first business day of the next week.

  • Dalian Commodity Exchange President Liu Xingqiang: Strengthen China's Commodity Futures Market's Right To Speak

    At the "Finance" annual meeting held in Beijing on December 17th, Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) President Liu Xingqiang said that increasing China's right to speak in the international commodities market still requires a longer process, and China's futures exchanges should be encouraged to grow stronger. When the time and conditions are right, strategies for expanding outwards should be implemented.
