The New York Stock Exchange, a subsidiary of NYSE Euronext (NYX), today released its weekly program-trading data compiled from member firms’ executed volume from NYSE’s orders database. The report includes trading on the NYSE for Dec. 20-24.

Bombay Stock Exchange: Index Based Market Wide Circuit Breaker For The Quarter 1st January, 2011 To 31st March, 2011

The Exchange implements on a quarterly basis (SEBI circular SMDRPD/Policy/Cir-37/2001 dated June 28, 2001) the index based market wide circuit breaker system. The system is applicable at three stages of the index movement either way at 10%, 15% and 20%. This circuit breaker brings about a coordinated trading halt in all equity and equity derivative markets nationwide.

Philippine Stock Exchange To Invest In State-Of-The-Art Surveillance System

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), acting on behalf of the successor company of its Market Regulation Division (MRD), is acquiring a new surveillance system which will enhance its capability to monitor stock trading activities and strengthen market integrity. Cyprus Stock Exchange: No Session On January 6 – Session On December 31 To End Earlier

The Cyprus Stock Exchange announces that pursuant to the Transaction Rules, there will be no CSE session or clearing/settlement of transactions on Epiphany, that is on Thursday January 6, 2010. Trading sessions on New Year's eve, Friday December 31 will end earlier.

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited’s (HKEx) derivatives market turnover reached an all-time high of 116,054,377 contracts in the year, surpassing the previous high of 105,006,736 contracts in 2008.

At Midnight Estonia Will Adopt The Euro

Estonia will adopt the euro on 1 January 2011 and so become the 17th member of the euro area. This will bring to over 330 million the number of people who share the single currency.
