NYSE Euronext Announces Trading Volumes For August 2009 - Unseasonally Strong August Trading Volumes Drive Year-Over-Year Increases Across All Venues
NYSE Euronext (NYX) today announced trading volumes for its global cash equities and derivatives exchanges for August 20091. Trading volumes in August generally rebounded from July levels resulting in year-over-year increases across all trading venues with European cash and derivatives volume up 5.3% and 15.9%, respectively, and U.S. cash and derivatives volume up 6.4% and 66.9%, respectively.

The Volume Of Trading In MICEX Index Futures On The MICEX Derivatives Market Reaches A Record-High Level
The results of trading in the MICEX derivatives market held on 1 September showed a record-high volume of trading in the MICEX Index futures, which amounted to 136.0 million rubles (the previous record figure of 114.4 million rubles was reached on 11 October 2007). During the day, 130 transactions in the MICEX Index futures were conducted, the total volume of which reached 1 243 contracts.

Summary Of August 2009 Activities At Tokyo Commodity Exchange
Tokyo Commodity Exchange today announced that August trading volume averaged 102,724 contracts per day, up 2.1 percent from July 2009, down 34.0 percent from August 2008.
