    For the week of June 21st – June 25th, 2004, total trading volume on FORTS (Futures & Options on the RTS) increased by 25% in rubles and by 22% in contracts and reached 1 089 thousand contracts and 8 650million rubles. Total open interest as of June 25th, 2004, equaled 5 689 million rubles and 708 thousand contracts.

  • Constituent Changes To The S&P/ASX 50 Index

    Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/ASX 50 Index pending the final approvals of the scheme of arrangement to merge Westfield Holdings Limited, Westfield Trust and Westfield America Trust. If final approvals are met the merger will become effective 5th July 2004. The following changes will be made after the close of business Friday 2nd July.

(CME), the largest U.S. futures exchange, today announced it will establish an incentive program starting September 1 targeting new electronic market participants. The program will waive transaction fees for up to six months for new traders learning to trade products on CME's GLOBEX(R) electronic trading platform.
