Tradeweb announced the addition of Australian government bonds to its suite of dealer-to-customer government bond marketplaces. The new market provides buy-side investors, such as asset managers and central banks, with the ability to trade a broad range of government securities on a single venue. More than 60 institutions have already executed Australian dollar trades on the platform.

BATS Global Markets (BATS) today announced the completion of the Chi-X Europe acquisition. BATS intends to combine the BATS Europe and Chi-X Europe MTFs, which will be known as BATS Chi-X Europe and will account for approximately 25% of overall European equities trading, making it the largest pan-European securities market¹.
