FINRA Names Robert L. D. Colby Chief Legal Officer

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) announced today that it has hired Robert L. D. Colby as its Chief Legal Officer. Colby will oversee the corporate and regulatory functions of the Office of General Counsel, along with the Regulatory Policy Group, which, among other things, is responsible for implementing FINRA's Corporate Financing and Advertising rules. Colby will join FINRA on June 18.

U.S. Court Of Appeals For The Federal Circuit Unanimously Rules In ISE's Favor In Patent Infringement Case Against Chicago Board Options Exchange

The International Securities Exchange (ISE) announced today that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit unanimously ruled in ISE's favor in the exchange's patent infringement case against the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). This decision clears the way for the case to move back to the District Court where ISE will aggressively pursue its claims of patent infringement.
