Bursa Malaysia Extends CBRS Research Scheme To Address Market's Need For Investment Information - Listed Companies Covered Under CBRS To Enjoy Greater Profiling And Visibility
CMDF-Bursa Malaysia Research Scheme (CBRS) has embarked on its third phase this month after a successful run since its inception five years ago. CBRS, which is open to participation by all companies listed on Bursa Malaysia, is aimed at ensuring that under-researched companies get adequate research coverage by analysts. This will ultimately support the Exchange's continuous call to facilitate informed investing via wider research coverage.

SMX And TAIFEX Sign MOU
Singapore Mercantile Exchange (SMX), the first pan-Asian multi-product commodity and currency derivatives exchange, and the Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX), Taiwan?s pioneering and fully-electronic futures exchange, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cooperate with each other to explore bilateral business opportunities, facilitate development of communication channels, and foster continuing partnerships beneficial to both countries? financial services industries.

Federal Reserve Issues Report To Congress On Risk Retention
The Federal Reserve Board on Tuesday issued a report on the potential impact of credit risk retention requirements on securitization markets. The report was required by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. The Dodd-Frank Act also requires the Federal Reserve and other agencies to jointly implement risk retention requirements for securitizers or originators of assets securitized through the issuance of asset-backed securities.
