Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Tuesday, September 27, 2011:
- Rainy River Resources Ltd. (TSXVN:RR) will be removed from the index as well as the S&P/TSX Venture Select Index. The company will graduate to trade on TSX under the same ticker symbol.

(ISDA) filed a comment letter on September 23 with the Committee on Payment and Settlements Systems (CPSS) and the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) in response to their consultative report on over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives data reporting and aggregation requirements.

At the end of the settlement date of September 15, 2011, short interest in 2,295 NASDAQ Global MarketSM securities totaled 7,496,281,312 shares compared with 7,182,656,153 shares in 2,292 Global Market issues reported for the prior settlement date of August 31, 2011. The mid-September short interest represents 4.20 days average daily NASDAQ Global Market share volume for the reporting period, compared with 2.92 days for the prior reporting period.

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Canadian Indices

Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes:
- Intact Financial Corporation (TSX:IFC) has completed the acquisition of AXA Canada. The relative weight of Intact Financial Corporation will increase in the S&P/TSX Composite and Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX Equity and Capped Equity, the S&P/TSX Capped Financial, the S&P/TSX Completion and Equity Completion and the S&P/TSX Composite Dividend indices to reflect this issuance of Intact Financial shares. These changes will be effective after close on Monday, October 3, 2011.
