    Ms. Christine Lagarde, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) today made the following statement in Boao, Hainan Province:

    “It has been a great pleasure to be back in Asia and in China, on the occasion of the 2013 Annual Conference of the Boao Forum for Asia. I had the privilege of meeting with President Xi Jinping, the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, Prime Minister Julia Gillard, Prime Minister John Key, and other Asian leaders and officials."

     

  • Shanghai Stock Exchange: Notice Of Releasing “SSE Measures On Management of Raised Funds Of Listed Companies (Revised In 2013)”

    The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) has amended the “SSE Measures on Management of Raised Funds of Listed Companies” (the “Measures”) according to the “No. 2 Regulatory Guidelines of Listed Companies: Regulatory Requirements for Management and Use of Listed Companies’ Raised Funds” (CSRC Announcement [2012] No. 44 Document) promulgated by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), in a bid to further standardize the use and management of listed companies’ raised funds, elevate the efficiency of using raised funds, and protect legal rights and interest of investors. The SSE hereby releases the amended “Measures”, which shall be put into effect as of the release day, and all listed companies are expected to abide by it.

  • HKEx Welcomes OTC Clear Founding Shareholders

    Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) today officially welcomed 12 financial institutions that will join OTC Clearing Hong Kong Limited (OTC Clear), a clearing house HKEx established for the purpose of providing clearing services for over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives, as founding shareholders. This brings the business one step closer to the planned commencement of operations in first half of 2013, subject to the final approval of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
